The Taylor County Genealogical Society was organized in 1995, uniting genealogists into one group. The purpose of the Taylor County Genealogical Society is to promote genealogy and to enable members to assist each other in individual pursuits.
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month except June, July and August. The meetings are held in the large conference room of the Frances L. Simek Memorial Library, Medford, Wisconsin at 7:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 Health Concerns, the meeting scheduled for April 9, 2020 has been cancelled.
Meeting time and room location are subject to change, please check the program schedule for the most up-to-date information.
Special genealogical information is presented at meetings to assist members in their own genealogy work.
The Taylor County Genealogical Society is an affiliated chapter of the Wisconsin State Genealogical Society www.wsgs.org
